I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate in BS Biochemistry from the University of Santo Tomas. I interned at Mahidol University in Thailand, the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, and the Mammalian Tissue Culture Laboratory at the university. I have attended trainings including the Fundamentals of Working Safely in a Biological Safety Cabinet and Workshop on the Ethical Use of Laboratory Animals in Research and Instruction. I have also attended a leadership training seminar at the same university. I have attended conferences on numerous topics relating to my field of study and presented at a Natural Products Society Philippines conference. Lastly, I have four research papers on the cytotoxic and antiproliferative properties of spider venom fractions against breast cancer cells, molecular docking and pharmacological profiling of triterpenes, authenticity testing of soy sauce, and neuroactivity and inhibitory properties of spider venom fractions.
